High quality processing for amateur photographers

Sharing a passion for photography

As an amateur photographer, photography is your hobby or, quite often, your passion. Therefore, you are more demanding than others when it comes to the quality of your images.

Pictorescue shares your passion for photography. We process images with high quality standards, supported by the best soft- and hardware available. We use high definition monitors that are calibrated every week and have sensors that automatically adjust the monitor settings when light conditions change. For fine retouching work we use Wacom tablets and our editors work with a dual monitor set-up: one monitor for editing the image in full screen and one for the tools and workflow software. By the way, we use Photohop CS5 and Lightroom 3 software.

Amateur photographers find our service useful when they lack the time, skills or equipment for post processing their images.

In our experience, amateur photographers are indeed more demanding. This sometimes makes delivering a good result challenging. At the same time, however, we like the assignments of serious amateur photographers because they are very precise and clear in their instructions. We know exactly what to do to create a satisfying result!

Assignments from serious amateur photographers range from quick development of Camera RAW file format images, to extensive and precise retouching for portfolio images. We have prepared images for large format prints (for exhibitions) and we have done a lot of post processing on images that needed to be submitted to stock photo sites like Fotolia, Dreamstime and the Getty Images cooperation with Flickr. Preparing photos for book publications is also a growing demand now that self publishing concepts like BLURB are becoming increasingly popular.

Next to sRGB, we also process in Adobe RGB and ProPhoto RGB color spaces without additional charge. Minor additional charges apply to uploading non-JPG files like RAW files. If you want us to send you the end result in a PSD or TIFF format and if you wish to receive the belonging XMP files, minor additional charges would apply as well.
